THE FLOWING LINES COLLECTION
To experience a total feeling of luxury walk into one of three Kaufmann de Suisse boutiques, in Montreal, Palm Beach, and New York. In these elegant settings a distinguished group of customers come to purchase pieces of jewelry that are created completely by hand, and that bear KAUFMANN de SUISSE's signature look called .
This look is expressed in soft flowing bands of 18k gold or platinum. The overall appearance is bold yet feminine; very fashionable yet timeless. These attributes are achieved through the styles' simplicity as well as its association with nature.
Winners of six Diamonds International Awards, KAUFMANN de SUISSE jewelry pieces are designed and created in their three locations, in their traditional European style workshops. Each piece is signed and numbered to give it lasting integrity and is only available in their three store locations.
FAMILY TRADITION
The family-run jewelry company celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2004. The company was founded by Swiss master goldsmith and jeweler, E. Pius Kaufmann, in Montreal. Kaufmann de Suisse opened its second boutique in Palm Beach in 1994. In 2003, the company opened its third boutique in New York at 785 Madison Avenue, which is managed by Charles Kaufmann, one of the two sons of the founder. Christopher, the other son, manages the Palm Beach store. Moneca, the daughter, is now managing the Montreal store.
"We wanted to reach a broader based, international audience appreciative not only of fine gemstones but also of fine craftsmanship and truly unique design," explained Christopher Kaufmann.
Christopher and Charles, both design the Flowing Lines collection, and are both GIA (Gemological Institute of America ) certified gemologists. After apprenticing under the tutelage of their gemologist father as well as in Switzerland with several respected jewelry establishments, the brothers joined the business over twenty years ago.
