This parcel was taken from the Old Field at Mintubi, over 10 years ago.
If you keep up with the news from the opal fields, you'll know that there just isn't much mining going on at Mintubi these days. Most of the miners have gone over to the Lambina field just to the east, where new strikes have been made. So it's really difficult to pry this kind of old stock away from the miners who know the quality of Mintubi and tend to hang on to it for a long time. But we managed to get this parcel at a very good price, and I'm sure that you'll agree that these are great examples of the best multicolor that Mintubi has to offer. The stones are of good thickness, and because they have been faced off, you'll have no trouble planning your cuts. Don't wait long on this parcel. There are plenty of folks out there who how great the Mintubi can be. |
